  This week Kirstie and Phil are called to the rescue of faint-hearted first time buyers, Helen and Paul. Scared off by serious-sounding surveys this hapless pair have loved and lost their dream home no less than three times in the last twelve months and the stress is starting to show. So, is it bad luck or poor judgment that's keeping these two out of the property market? Kirstie and Phil use kind words and a wealth of experience to hold the ladder steady so these shaky first-timers can get a foot-hold. Just to make matters more difficult, these two have different ambitions for their new pad. Paul is desperate to road-test his DIY skills with a renovation project, something Helen puts down to the lethal combination of inexperience and testosterone, whereas she just wants to move in to a ready make home. Twelve months of searching has done nothing to reconcile their differences. Meanwhile, the market continues to rocket around them making their £165k budget smaller by the day. Kirstie and Phil make heroic efforts to keep them ahead of the competition, but will Helen and Paul wake up in their dream home or will the nightmare continue unabated?

  This week Kirstie and Phil almost come to blows when they take on the impossible -- finding a flat with private parking in pricey North London for £290000. They're helping Laura Cream, a very single-minded young lady. She bought her first home with her sister 10 years ago... but now she wants to go it alone, and she knows EXACTLY what she wants. Ten years is a long time to plan precisely what you want from a home of your own and Laura has a very specific set of demands for Kirstie and Phil. She wants a 2 bed, ground-floor flat with lots of space, private garden and the most sought after item in the 3rd most expensive city in the world, private parking at her door! It has to be a period property in a quiet, leafy street, where she can feel safe but where there aren't too many families... Oh, and we mention that she needs space for her burgeoning paper marbling business? I smell trouble! With her rigid demands and a budget of just £290000, almost 80% of the 2 bed flats on the market can be discounted immediately. So can she afford to be so picky? Can Kirstie use her contacts to find the dream home? Will Phil be able to use his charm to secure Laura a parking space? And at the end of it all, will Kirstie and Phil still be friends?

  It's like Doctor Dolittle meets Lawrence of Arabia as Kirstie and Phil help the camel-racing Fossett clan relocate their ever-expanding menagerie of children and wild beasts. The Fossets have outgrown their four bedroom Warwickshire home. Joe and Rebecca, their two kids, three camels and other sundry wildlife need space to grown into, ideally eight acres of it and no more than ten miles from their current location. Kirstie and Phil search for a solution as the competing demands of camel and family test what's possible on a £700000 budget. The question is who'll give in first camel obsessed Joe or location obsessed Rebecca. Let's just hope no-one gets the hump.

  This week Kirstie and Phil are dealing with a full-blown mid-life crisis in the Welsh Borders! Management trainer Mel has set them the challenge of finding a hillside home to house his very own leadership and team building centre... the trouble is, his partner, Ali's heart just isn't in it. Mel's been dreaming of leaving suburbia and setting up his own leadership and team building centre in the Welsh hills for the last 15 years. At 45 years old, he thinks it's about time he followed his dream, and took control of his life. He's thinking tunnel challenges , rope climbing, assault courses. You can't say it clearer than that... well, apart from the words... mid... life... crisis! Oh and then there's Ali, suburban living has been perfect for her... she's a long-haul air hostess, so living 30 minutes from Heathrow is ideal, plus she's a cosmopolitan gal who's quite partial to a spot of shopping... life in the Welsh Hills may leave something to be desired! With their Maidenhead home under offer, and a budget of 600000, Ali's agreed to leave suburban life to follow Mel's dream, but with her heart somewhere else, can Kirstie and Phil find a property she loves enough to win her over?
