  The Koffi Annan Plan had undergone five revisions in order to reach its final version. The 5th revision of the Annan Plan[1] proposed the creation of the United Cyprus Republic, covering the island of Cyprus in its entirety except for the British Sovereign Base Areas. This new country was to be a federation of two constituent states — the Greek Cypriot State and the Turkish Cypriot State — joined together by a federal government apparatus. This federal level, purported to be loosely based on the Swiss federal model, would have incorporated the following elements: A collective Presidential Council, made up of six voting members, allocated according to population (per present levels, four Greek Cypriots and two Turkish Cypriots), and selected and voted in by parliament. An additional three non-voting members would be assigned 2:1. A bicameral legislature: A Senate (upper house), with 48 members, divided 24:24 between the two communities.   Sketch Six - The King Is Still In LondonDad's Army: A Nostalgic Music and Laughter Show of Britains Finest Hour was a 1975 stage adaptation of the BBC sitcom Dad's Army. Following the success of the television programme, the stage show was commissioned by Bernard Delfont in the spring of 1975. Jimmy Perry and David Croft adapted material from the original scripts, making changes to allow for the absence of location filming. The show was in the style of a revue, with songs, familiar scenes from the show, and individual turns for cast members. It was produced by Roger Redfarn, who shared the same agent as the writers. Most of the principal Dad's Army cast transferred with it, with the exception of John Laurie who was replaced by Hamish Roughead. Following James Becks death two years earlier, Walker was played by John Bardon. Clive Dunn was replaced for half the tour by Jack Haig (David Crofts original first choice for the role of Corporal Jones on television). Jeffrey Holland, who went on to star in several later Croft sitcoms, also had a number of roles in the production. The show opened at the Forum Theatre, Billingham, County Durham on Thursday 4 September 1975 for a two-week tryout.   Nikos Skalkottas (1904-1949) Seven Greek Dances (1931-36) 5. Mariori mou - Mariori mou; Moderato assai e molto espressivo 6. Arkadikos; Moderato 7. Kleftikos; Allegro vivo Malmö Symphony Orchestra conducted by Nikos Christodoulou Skalkottas composed his thirty-six Greek Dances, one of his best known and most important works, between 1931 and 1936. He worked at revising it periodically until the last year of his life, completing three full manuscripts with orchestral revisions and, in a few of the dances, changes in the composition. He also did several transcriptions of individual dances for various combinations of instruments. The posthumously published version for strings soon became popular. The Greek Dances show both harmonic and formal originality. Skalkottas's exploratory use of the Greek folk material is inspired - a landmark in Greek music. The titles of the dances refer either to regions of Greece and their music - eg "Epirotikos" (Epirus), "Kretikos" (Crete), "Thessalikos" (Thessaly), "Ardikos" (Arcadia, Peloponnese), or to a type of folk-dance - eg "Tsamikos, Kleftikos", or sometimes to the title of a folk-song, such as "Mariori mou". In Kretikos, Tsamikos and Mariori mou Skalkottas uses traditional folk melodies. In Epirotikos, Thessalikos, Arkadikos and Kleftikos the composer invents his own thematic ideas.
